Yellowstone or Bust!

This past hitch off, we had hoped to head home to visit family and for soon-to-be, sister-in-law's baby shower, but unfortunately, with the truck still being in the shop, we decided it would be best to stay near home. Our plans were to head to Yellowstone National Park and the Tetons. We've been living in Montana for 8 months now and haven't yet gone to explore our big, beautiful new home state. I did some research and heard about this crazy "Un-settled Storm" headed right to where we wanted to go. So, we nixed the idea of a mini trip and stayed at home. After spending the week at the apartment, we had had enough. So, off we went.. and took the 3 hour trip to Billings. My fiance spoiled me with shopping at the mall and a pedicure. Then we spoiled him with time at a gun range and then dinner at my fiance's favorite spot, Buffalo Wild Wings.

We left Billings, crossed over the Yellowstone River and arrived 2 hours later in Bozeman, MT. While in Bozeman, the storm arrived!!

The morning we left Bozeman, we had to take a few photos in remembrance of our visit and the beautiful surroundings!

From Bozeman we had a 2 hour ride to Yellowstone... and along the way the snow covered mountains in the distance were calling to us!!
